Arrive Langkawi
Upon arrival at Langkawi International Airport, you will be warmly greeted by our representative. Enjoy a comfortable private transfer to your hotel, where you will be assisted with a smooth check-in process. After settling into your room, take some time to unwind and explore the hotel’s facilities. The rest of the day is at your leisure, giving you the opportunity to relax or explore the enchanting island of Langkawi at your own pace. Day 2
Langkawi – Mangrove Bat Cave
Breakfast at the hotel. Set off for a full-day guided tour of the breathtaking Mangrove Forest and Bat Cave in Langkawi. Begin your journey with a scenic boat ride through the winding mangrove forests, where you will be surrounded by towering limestone cliffs and lush green vegetation. The calm waters of the Kilim River offer a tranquil setting as you navigate through the narrow waterways, providing a perfect opportunity to spot exotic wildlife such as kingfishers, mudskippers, and monitor lizards. Stop at the fascinating Bat Cave (Gua Kelawar), known for its colony of sleeping fruit bats hanging from the cave ceiling. In the afternoon, prepare for a thrilling ride on the Langkawi SkyCab, one of the steepest cable car rides in the world. Glide over the lush tropical rainforest as the cable car ascends to the top of Gunung Mat Cincang at an elevation of 708 meters. From the viewing platforms, take in breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding islands, dense forests, and the sparkling Andaman Sea. Step onto the awe-inspiring Langkawi Sky Bridge, a curved suspension bridge suspended 660 meters above sea level. The bridge offers spectacular 360-degree views of the rainforest canopy and distant islands. An unforgettable experience for nature and photography lovers. Continue your adventure at SkyRex, an immersive 4D ride that takes you on a thrilling journey through a simulated prehistoric world. Day 4
Langkawi to Kuala Lumpur – Putrajaya Tour & Putrajaya Cruise
Breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, complete the check-out formalities at the hotel. You will be transferred to Langkawi International Airport for your internal flight to Kuala Lumpur (internal flight not included). Enjoy a smooth and scenic flight over the beautiful Malaysian landscape as you make your way to the bustling capital city. Upon arrival at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA), you will be greeted by our representative and transferred to your hotel in the city. Check in and settle into your room, where you can relax and unwind after your journey. Later in the afternoon, embark on an insightful tour of Putrajaya, Malaysia’s administrative capital known for its impressive architecture, grand bridges, and beautiful man-made lakes. Your guided tour will cover major landmarks, including: - Putra Mosque – A striking pink-domed mosque built with rose-tinted granite, featuring intricate Islamic architecture. - Perdana Putra – The Prime Minister’s Office, a blend of Malay and European architectural styles. - Putrajaya Lake – A serene man-made lake that serves as the focal point of the city. - Seri Wawasan Bridge – A cable-stayed bridge designed in the shape of a sailing ship, offering beautiful views of the city. The site features a towering 42.7-meter (140-foot) golden statue of Lord Murugan, which guards the entrance to the caves. Take some time to capture memorable photos and, if you wish, climb the 272 colorful steps leading to the main cave temple, which houses impressive Hindu shrines and limestone formations that date back over 400 million years. Kl Tower – Observation Deck + Skydeck, Kl Butterfly Park, Petronas Twin Tower
Enjoy Breakfast at the Hotel. Start with a visit to the KL Tower, one of the tallest freestanding towers in the world. Take the elevator to the Observation Deck for panoramic city views, and experience the thrill of standing on the Sky Deck with its glass floor offering breathtaking views below. Next, visit the KL Butterfly Park, home to over 5,000 butterflies from more than 120 species. Stroll through the tropical garden surrounded by exotic plants, waterfalls, and colorful butterflies. Conclude your tour at the iconic Petronas Twin Towers. Walk across the Skybridge on the 41st and 42nd floors for stunning views of the city. When to Go
Malaysia sits on the equator, so it is hot and humid year-round with no real off-season. The question is rain, not temperature. The west coast, where Kuala Lumpur, Langkawi and the highlands sit, is at its driest from December to March and again June to August, with the wetter inter-monsoon spells around April-May and October-November bringing the heaviest afternoon downpours. Genting and the Cameron Highlands stay cool whatever the lowlands do. Travel any month; just expect an hour of rain most afternoons.
