Day 01 NJP RLY STATION / IXB AIRPORT – PHUENTSHOLING (160 KMS / 5 HRS)

Arrival in Bagdogra Airport. Welcome, meet and greet with representative/driver and transfer to Phuentsholing. On arrival, check in at hotel. After that, complete formalities at Border to entry into Bhutan. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 02 PHUENTSHOLING – THIMPHU (150 KMS / 4 HRS)

After breakfast, complete the immigration formalities and transfer to Thimphu (7,710 ft.) the capital city of Bhutan. On the way, stop at places to view scenery and for Photography. On arrival check in at the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at Thimphu.

Day 03 THIMPHU SIGHTSEEING

After breakfast proceed for a panoramic private sightseeing of the capital of Bhutan which includes the following places of interest: • Memorial Chorten • Kuensel Phodrang – World’s Largest Sitting Buddha Statue • Takin Reserve & Mini Zoo • BBS Tower – Provides a vantage point view of the Thimpu Valley. • Folk Heritage Museum • Royal Textile Academy & Museum • Anim Dratshang (Nunnery) • Trashichhodzong – Fortress in Thimphu • Handicrafts Emporium Dinner & overnight stay in Thimphu. (Note: On weekends, guests would also have the opportunity of visiting the weekend market, an interesting market with local items and bargain price handicraft goods)

Day 04 THIMPHU - PUNAKHA/WANGDUE SIGHTSEEING (100 KM / 3 HRS)

After breakfast, proceed toward Punakha. Enroute, halt at Dochu La - A mountain pass leading further into the Punakha Valley. It offers a stunning 360-degree panoramic view of Eastern Himalayan Mountain ranges. The view is especially scenic on clear, winter days with snowcapped mountains forming a majestic backdrop to the tranquillity of the 108 chortens gracing the mountain pass. On reaching, check- in and later proceed for visit to Punakha Dzong, Punakha suspension bridge and Chimi Lakhang (fertility temple). Dinner & overnight stay in Punakha.

Day 05 PUNAKHA/WANGDUE - PARO SIGHTSEEING (125 KM / 4 HRS)

After breakfast, check out of your hotel and proceed to Paro. The Paro valley extends from the confluence of the Paro Chhu and the Wang Chhu rivers at Chuzom upto Mt. Jomolhari at the Tibetan border to the North. This picturesque region is one of the widest valleys in the kingdom and is covered in fertile rice fields and has a beautiful, crystalline river meandering down the valley. After checking into your hotel, you would proceed for a private sightseeing tour of Paro which would include the following places: • Drukgyel Dzong – Ruins of an old fortress in Paro • Kyichu Lakhang – Famous Monastery in Paro • National Museum of Bhutan Dinner & overnight stay in Paro.

Day 06 EXCURSION TO TAKTSHANG MONASTERY / CHELE LA PASS

After breakfast, proceed for a day excursion to Chele La pass (12,200ft) - The highest motorable point in Bhutan. On a clear day one can get a breath-taking view of Mt.Jhomolhari (23,996 ft the second highest peak of Bhutan) and other Himalayan giants. Visit Paro Dzong while returning to Paro. Or, After breakfast visit Taktsang Monastery – a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It requires 2-3 hours’ trek. Dinner & overnight stay in Paro.

Day 07 PARO HOTEL – PHUNSHOLING (150 KM / 5 HRS)

After breakfast, check out from hotel and transfer to Phunsholing. Enjoy the scenic drive through forests and mountains. On arrival, check in at hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel

Day 08 PHUNSHOLING – BAGDOGRA (200 KM / 4-5 HRS)
