Day 1
Arrive Guwahati, drive to the hills
Flights from the metros into Guwahati, a scenic drive up to an Umiam-lake resort and a welcome bonfire dinner on the lawn with a leadership toast under the hill sky.
Day 2
Lake & sessions
Morning strategy or review session in the resort hall, afternoon of kayaking and team challenges on Umiam Lake, and a Khasi cultural night with live folk music and local cuisine.

Cherrapunji expedition

Umiam-lake offsite with a Cherrapunji expedition day
A team offsite in the Khasi hills, lakeside strategy sessions, a living-root-cave expedition and a Khasi cultural closing night. Tibro handled Guwahati flight blocks, the hill drive, permits and Indian-menu catering throughout; a team that had done every resort came back talking about a place none of them had ever heard of.

Why Shillong over a more established offsite destination?
Because almost nobody has been. The novelty of waterfalls, root caves and the Scotland-of-the-East hills does the team-building work a fourth trip to the usual resorts cannot, the offbeat factor is the whole point.
How do we get there and what trip length works?
Fly into Guwahati in about four hours from the metros, then a scenic three-hour drive into the hills. Three nights is the standard; four adds Cherrapunji's root bridges and a Guwahati night.
When is the best time to go?
February–May and August–November are clear and pleasant. The June–July monsoon is dramatic and green at the lowest rates, waterfalls are at their fullest, and the hills stay cool through the year.
Can you handle Indian and Jain food for the group?
Yes. We arrange Indian menus, Jain and vegetarian options at resorts, on expeditions and at cultural-night venues when briefed at proposal stage, catering is planned around the cohort, not left to chance in the hills.
Is Shillong suitable for a larger conference, not just team building?
Yes, Shillong and Umiam-lake resorts run compact sales meets and review conferences up to around 150 with AV-ready halls and breakout lawns. Beyond that we base the plenary in Guwahati and bring the team up for the offsite.
Do we get GST-compliant billing?
