China Import and Export Fair
China Import and Export Fair, also known as the "Canton Fair", is an important channel for China's foreign trade sector and demonstrates China's opening-up policy. It plays a key role in advancing the development of China's foreign trade and the economic and trade exchanges between China and the rest of the world. It is renowned as " China's No. 1 Fair". The Canton Fair is co-hosted by the Ministry of Commerce of the PRC and the People's Government of Guangdong Province and organized by the China Foreign Trade Centre.
It is held every spring and autumn in Guangzhou, China. Since its establishment in 1957, the Canton Fair has enjoyed the longest history, the largest scale, the biggest buyer attendance, the most diverse buyer source country, the complete product variety, and the best business turnover in China for 135 sessions. The 132nd Canton Fair drew 510,000 online buyers from 229 countries and regions. This robust international participation underscores the substantial commercial significance of the Canton Fair and its pivotal role in fostering global trade. As the event looks forward to its 135th Anniversary in 2024, it will be hosted at the China Import and Export Fair Pazhou Complex in Guangzhou.
Canton Fair 2024 dates are scheduled for October 15, full of highlights. The physical exhibition will be fully resumed and held in three phases. The schedule for the upcoming Canton Fair October 2024 is as follows:
Canton Fair Phase 1 (October 15th - 19th):
The first phase focuses on industrial buyers seeking the latest in consumer electronics and information products, Household electrical appliances, Spare parts, Lighting Equipment, Electronic and electrical products, Hardware, Tools.
Canton Fair Phase 2 (October 23rd - 27th):
This phase is perfect for those looking for household items. You can find everything from kitchenware and tableware to decorative items and gifts. Construction and building materials, along with furniture, are also on display during this phase.
Canton Fair Phase 3 (October 31st - Nov 4th):
This last phase is one for a wider consumer audience. Discover a vast selection of toys, baby and maternity products, clothing and fashion accessories, home textiles (like towels and bedding), stationery (office supplies), and health and recreational products.
Exhibitors can complete the process digitally, including application for participation, booth arrangement, product displaying and onsite preparation. This trade veteran connects China's businesses with the world, solidifying its position as a global economic powerhouse.
