Commencing on a pilgrimage to the temples of Tamil Nadu is a journey that transcends the physical and delves deep into the spiritual and cultural tapestry of this enchanting region.
Day 01
ARRIVAL IN CHENNAI, TO PONDICHERRY, ENROUTE VISIT TO MAHABALIPURAM
- On arrival at Chennai Airport, our representative/driver will receive you and drive you towards Pondicherry. En route, you will visit the ancient town of Mahabalipuram which is also recognized by UNESCO as a world heritage. Later continue your drive to the famous colonial town of Pondicherry, on reaching check-in to the hotel, freshen up and relax followed by dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 02
SIGHTSEEING TOUR OF PONDICHERRY
- After breakfast, embark on a full day of sightseeing tour of Pondicherry, also explore places like Auroville, Aurobindo Ashram, Manakula Vinayagar Temple Pondicherry, etc. Later in the evening back to the hotel followed by dinner and overnight stay.
Day 03
TRANSFER TO TANJORE (THANJAVUR)
- After breakfast, checkout and depart for Tanjore, enjoy a 4-hour drive passing the various villages and countryside with South Indian-styled livelihoods. On reaching Tanjore check into your hotel and later proceed for the sightseeing tour. After visiting the temple, head to the market streets and you can shop for famous Tanjore Silk sarees. Later proceed back to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 04
TRANSFER TO MADURAI, ENROUTE VISIT TO TRICHY
- After a hearty breakfast, proceed to checkout and continue the journey further to Madurai. En route, we visit the famous temple town of Trichy (Tiruchirappalli), later check in to the hotel and take some rest followed by dinner and overnight stay.
Day 05
MADURAI SIGHTSEEING TOUR
- After breakfast, proceed for a full-day sightseeing tour of Madurai. Start the tour with a visit to one of the most iconic temples of India, The Meenakshi Amman temple later continuing with an interesting guided tour of this ancient city.
Day 06
TRANSFER TO RAMESHWARAM & SIGHTSEEING
- Have a relaxed breakfast after which we check out and proceed to Rameshwaram and check into the hotel, where we will cover Ramanathaswamy Temple, Agnitheertham, Dhanushkodi, and return to the hotel in the evening followed by dinner and overnight stay.
Day 07
TRANSFER TO KANYKUMARI & SIGHTSEEING
- Post breakfast we continue the temple run to our next pitch point – Kanyakumari, the Southernmost tip of India’s mainland. On reaching we first check in and freshen up and later embark on a sightseeing tour of this town which is of both historical and religious importance. First, we visit the Kanyakumari temple, followed by a visit to Lady of Ransom Church, later continuing to the most iconic monuments in the city, like the Vivekananda Rock Memorial. After the full-day tour, we return to the hotel by evening for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 08
TRANSFER TO KOVALAM
- Have a relaxed breakfast and then check out from the hotel by noon. We complete the sightseeing of Kanyakumari and later continue to the beach town of Kovalam indulge yourself in some water sports and rides late afternoon. Enjoy a nice sunset and an evening walk by the beach followed by dinner & overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 09
SIGHTSEEING TOUR OF TRIVANDRUM
- After early breakfast, we proceed for an exciting last day of the tour proceeding to Trivandrum and visiting the World’s richest temple, Padmanabhaswamy Temple, followed by lunch and then continue for the remaining sightseeing. Return back to Kovalam by evening with dinner and overnight stay.
Day 10
DEPARTURE
- After breakfast, check out and drop off at Trivandrum airport for your journey back home with memories to hold forever.
