Day 01
ARRIVAL GUWAHATI AIRPORT (GAU) / RAILWAY STATION – SHILLONG
- On arrival at Guwahati Airport / Railway Station & transfer to Shillong. Enroute visit Umium Lake, a majestic placid lake with its surrounding sylvan hills. On arrival at Shillong, check in at your hotel. Evening roam the Shillong famous Police Bazar on foot. Overnight stay at Shillong. Note: Sightseeing could only get incorporated if guest arrives in morning.
Day 02
SHILLONG - LAITLUM CANYONS -KRANG SURI FALLS - SHILLONG
- After breakfast proceed to Laitlum Canyons for some breathtaking views. Then visit Krang Suri Falls. It is one of the best waterfalls in Meghalaya. You can also swim in a naturally formed pool here. You can also go behind the waterfall and see the water falling in front of you. For Lunch return back to Shillong. Dinner & overnight at Shillong.
Day 03
SHILLONG - DAWKI - MAWLYNNONG VILLAGE - CHERRAPUNJI
- After breakfast visit Mawlynnong Village the cleanest village in Asia. This cute and colorful little village is known for its cleanliness. It is situated 90 kms. From Shillong and besides the picturesque village, offers many interesting sights such as the Living Root Bridge and the strange natural phenomenon of a boulder balancing on another rock. After that proceed to Dawki Dawki is along the Indo-Bangladesh border. You can enjoy boating in the crystal-clear waters of the Umgnot River. Evening proceeds to Cherrapunji. Overnight at Cherrapunji. Note: It is advisable to carry packed lunch to Mwallynong. During Monsoons Sightseeing may be affected
Day 04
CHERRAPUNJI
- Get up early to enjoy the mesmerizing mornings of Cherrapunji. Visit Eco Park, Dainthlen Falls, Nohkalikai Falls, Nohsngithiang Falls (Seven Sisters Falls), Mawsmai Cave, Thangkharang Park. Overnight stay at Cherrapunji. Optional Activity- Proceed for a full day trekking to the Double Decker Living Root Bridge at Nongriat Village. Need to trek approx. 3200 steps each way to the Double Decker Living Root Bridge. We can further trek down to the Rainbow Falls which take about 60 to 90 minutes from the Double Decker Living Root Bridge. Note: During Monsoons Sightseeing may be affected
Day 05
CHERRAPUNJI - GUWAHATI
- After breakfast check out and drive to Guwahati. Check in to hotel. Later visit Kamakhya temple – it is situated at the top of the Nilachal Hill at about 800 feet above the sea level. The entire temple complex not only comprises of many other temples but also a whole set of people connected with them. Apart from the main Devi temple, it also comprises of some other major temples of Devi Kali, Tara, Bagala, Chinnamasta, Bhuvanesvari, Bhairavi and Dhumavati (Notes-Timing 08:00 A.M till 01:00 P.M & 3:00 P.M till its gets dark). Overnight at Guwahati. Note: Brahmaputra River cruise is all subjected to Water level. If the water level is high then it may not be operational.
Day 06
GUWAHATI – LOCAL SIGHTSEEING
- After breakfast visit Navegraha Temple, Assam State Museum (Closed on Monday), Science Museum and Zoo cum Botanical Garden. Visit Srimanta Sankardev Kalakshetra a place where Assamese history and culture is presented, one may also visit the Assam Film Museum to know the History of Assamese Cinema. Visit GTAC Tea Lounge to enjoy a cup of finest Assam Tea and also carry some Tea back home. Here you will find the finest quality of Organic, CTC, Orthodox, Green Tea, White Tea, Purple Tea etc. Evening you may take a River Cruise (Direct Payment) on the mighty River Brahmaputra. You may also visit the local market. Assam is famous for Assam Silk particularly Golden Muga Silk, Assam Tea, Bamboo and Cane Products. Overnight stay at Guwahati. OR OPTIONAL Guwahati – Excursion to Hajo & Sualkuchi After breakfast drive to Sualkuchi weavers' village & Hajo village excursions along with visit to Greater Adjutant stork & Bastra Udyan. Sualkuchi village: Assam produces three unique varieties of silks, the Golden Muga, the White Pat and the warm Eri. Silks grown all over the state find their way to Sualkuchi. Sualkuchi is one of the world’s largest weaving villages. The entire population here is engaged in weaving exquisite silk fabrics. A renowned center of silk production, particularly known for Muga - the golden silk of Assam, which is not, produced anywhere else in the world. It is customary for an Assamese bride to wear a traditional set in paat silk during her wedding. One can distinctly hear the rhythm of the shuttles of the looms as soon as one enters this craft village. Sualkuchi, the biggest village of Assam, situated on the north bank of the mighty Brahmaputra. Greater Adjutant Stork (Hargilla in Assamese) with just few hundred left in the world, two-thirds of the global population live in Assam, pride of Dadara-Pasariya-Singimari villages near Sualkuchi. Bastra Udyan, a children’s park and Aamar Sualkuchi, a museum-like institute with sculptural forms depicting the different activities of the handlooms of the silk village Sualkuchi. Tourists coming to Sualkuchi get a clear impression of the different processes of weaving of the silk village which showcases the life at Sualkuchi. Hajo Village: The town of Hajo (35 km west of Guwahati and 20 kms from Sualkuchi) is a sacred place for Hindus, Muslims and Buddhists. The town also boasts of the Hayagriba Madhava Temple, accessible via a long stone stairway. Hajo village is renowned for their bell metal work.

GUWAHATI HOTEL - GUWAHATI AIRPORT / RAILWAY STATION FOR ONWARD CONNECTION
