Upon arrival at Dublin International Airport, guests will be warmly welcomed by a private chauffeur and escorted in a luxury Mercedes V-Class. Connemara’S Beauty & Ashford Castle Indulgence
Begin the day with a relaxed breakfast in the enchanting setting of Ashford Castle. Today’s adventure is a journey through the raw and breathtaking landscapes of Connemara. Where craggy mountains roll into the Atlantic, and timeless beauty defines every view. Accompanied by a private driver-guide, guests will explore this remote and majestic region. A highlight of the day is a visit to the iconic Kylemore Abbey, a neo-Gothic architectural gem nestled beside a glistening lake. Surrounded by woodlands and gardens, the Abbey’s Victorian Walled Garden invites a peaceful stroll among vibrant blooms and serene scenery. Today’s journey spans over 320 kilometers, with approximately 5+ hours of driving, but every mile is rich with beauty and character. Travel across The Burren, a UNESCO Global Geopark unlike anywhere else on earth. This striking landscape of limestone pavement, dotted with rare wildflowers, offers a surreal and otherworldly experience. While in the region, enjoy a sweet pause at Hazel Mountain Chocolate, an award-winning, family-run artisan chocolatier whose creations are inspired by the natural richness of the Burren. Continue on to the Cliffs of Moher, one of Ireland’s most iconic natural landmarks, where sheer cliffs plunge dramatically into the Atlantic Ocean. For lunch, stop in one of the charming nearby villages. Liscannor or Ennistymon. Both known for their cozy cafés and warm hospitality. Bantry and Drombeg to Cork
After breakfast at the hotel. After a leisurely breakfast at The Europe Hotel, the journey continues along the breathtaking Wild Atlantic Way. Renowned as one of the world’s most scenic coastal drives. Today’s route takes you through the heart of West Cork, a region rich in natural beauty, history, and charm. Travel through picture-perfect towns such as Kenmare, Bantry, and Skibbereen, where each stop reveals its own story and character. Visit the elegant Bantry House, an exquisite stately home overlooking Bantry Bay. Its terraced “staircase to heaven” gardens and impressive art collection. Acquired in part from Napoleon III’s auction at Versailles. Offer a glimpse into the life of Irish nobility. Continue on to the mystical Drombeg Stone Circle, a 4,000-year-old ceremonial site once used by Druids, set in a serene countryside landscape. Day 6
Blarney and Kinsale Or Cobh and Fota
After breakfast at Hayfield Manor, the day is yours to explore the highlights of the Cork region. An area so rich in culture and history that one could spend a week and still have more to discover. Begin with a visit to the iconic Blarney Castle, just a short drive north, where you can kiss the legendary Blarney Stone and wander the beautiful gardens. Alternatively, spend the morning exploring Cork City’s cultural landmarks such as the Shandon Bells, English Market, St. Fin Barre’s Cathedral, the Crawford Art Gallery, and the Honan Chapel at University College Cork. In the afternoon, choose between two memorable excursions. Head south to the charming coastal town of Kinsale, famed for its gourmet cuisine, colorful 18th-century streets, and dramatic coastal walks. Visit the historic Charles Fort, stroll through town, and perhaps explore St. Multose Church, with its ancient gravestones surrounded by seasonal blooms. Cork to Dublin
After breakfast at Hayfield Manor, begin your journey back to Dublin, traveling approximately 260 kilometers through some of Ireland’s most storied landscapes. This scenic drive, taking around 3.5 hours not including stops, leads you through the lush farmlands of County Tipperary’s Golden Vale, renowned for its rich soil and pastoral beauty. Your main stop of the day is the awe-inspiring Rock of Cashel, a dramatic limestone outcrop rising nearly 60 meters above the plains. Once the seat of the Kings of Munster, the Rock is steeped in legend and history. Including the baptism of King Aengus by St. Patrick in 448 AD. Explore its remarkable medieval architecture, including a 12th-century round tower, a Romanesque chapel, and a Gothic cathedral. Depending on your interests and timing, you may also stop at Cahir Castle, one of Ireland’s largest and best-preserved Norman fortresses, famously featured in the film Excalibur; the nearby Motte of Knockgraffon, a little-known but historically rich site; and the romantic ruins of Athassel Priory, nestled by a quiet riverbank. Don't let a grey morning rewrite the plan; the Cliffs of Moher or the Ring of Kerry will likely clear by the time you arrive. Pack a proper rain shell and layers rather than an umbrella, which the Atlantic wind turns inside out, and keep the camera ready for the light between showers.

An Irish pub isn't only for drinking. It's where the music happens, the trad sessions starting unannounced in the corner around nine, and where a solo traveller falls into conversation within a pint. Order a Guinness and let it settle the full two-part pour before you drink; rushing it marks you out. The smaller country pubs are where the sessions are best, not the Temple Bar tourist ones.

Plan Your Timing
When to Go
Ireland is a summer-half country. May through September gives you the long days. Light until ten at midsummer. The warmest, driest weather, and the green at its most absurd. It rains in every month, so the question is really about daylight and warmth rather than staying dry: the shoulder months of May and September are quieter than peak July-August but just as good. Winter is dark, wet and wind-driven, with short days and many west-coast attractions running reduced hours, though Dublin and the cities carry on.
