Day 01
Arrival at Venice
- Arrive Venice (the Queen of the Adriatic). Meet the Chauffeur at Airport and transfer to Hotel. Relax in hotel. Evening you will proceed for Venice City Orientation Tour Explore the hidden maze of streets, the majestic Basilica of St Mark, Square and also experience the scenic Gondolas and the Grand Canal Trip. You’ll admire the magnificent palazzi, as well as catching a glimpse of the Rialto Bridge.
Day 02
Venice
- Breakfast at hotel and proceed for your city tour. Cruise your way through Venice by private launch to soak up the sights and sounds of what was once one of the world's greatest ports. 'Dive Into Culture' on Giudecca Island. Continue past the Bridge of Sighs and Doge's Palace to St. Mark’s Square to view the impressive square and Basilica. Later discover the Venetian Lagoon cruise to Burano by private boat.
Day 03
Venice – Milan
- Check out after breakfast at hotel to start your journey to Milan. You will cross the lush green plains of Lombardy to sophisticated Milan, Italy's capital of design and fashion. An orientation tour takes us past the intricate Gothic Duomo, La Scala Opera House and the famous Galleria. Also visit the famous La Scala Opera House
Day 04
Milan – Lake Como
- After Breakfast you will start full day excursion to Lake Como. Spend this morning exploring the little towns, indulge in the area's delicious gelato, take the funicular for spectacular views of the lake or consider a cruise on the lake. Back to Milan in evening
Day 05
Milan – Florence
- Check Out and transfer to Florence En route, stop at the wonderful Antica Corte Pallavicina near Parma. Florence City Tour on Arrival: Delve into the extravagant legacy of the Medici family. The elegant Duomo dominates the skyline as we visit Piazza della Signoria with its exquisite statues and palazzi. Enjoy spectacular panoramic views of Florence and 400-year-old Ponte Vecchio from Piazzale Michelangelo.
Day 06
Cinque Terre & Pisa
- Explore sea of pastel pinks, yellows and blues cling dramatically to the Ligurian cliffs in Cinque Terre UNESCO World Heritage Site. Join a Local Specialist and delve into the daily life of these picturesque fishing villages. Stop in Pisa and visit its UNESCO-listed Square of Miracles to view the architectural feat that is the Leaning Tower.
Day 07
Rome
- Check Out and transfer to Rome. Enroute Visit to Wonderful Siena. You will discover Piazza del Campo, the main central square where the famous Palio takes place every year, as well as exploring quieter backstreets and learning everything about the Contrade, the 17 medieval city districts that compete in the Palio Check in at hotel on arrival. Relax in the hotel.
Day 08
Vatican City
- Your captivating journey through Rome begins at the Vatican Museums where you view Michelangelo's magnificent frescoes ceiling in the Sistine Chapel and his sorrowful Pietà in St. Peter's Basilica. Later enjoy City Tour of Rome, where you will visit the enduring symbols of Ancient Rome, paying tribute to the gladiators and soldiers who entertained thousands in the mighty Colosseum. See the Circus Maxims before spending the afternoon at leisure. Wander up Via Veneto on a shopping spree, soak up the coffee culture in one of Rome's lively piazze or discover the masterpieces of Rome in one of the city's many museums.
Day 09
Rome – Pompeii – Sorrento – Isle of Capri
- Check out and Venture south towards the ancient city of Pompeii joined by local guide. Cruising across the Bay of Naples next, you arrive at the Isle of Capri. Enjoy a beautiful drive into the Sorrentino countryside, where you'll explore the gardens, mill and ancient wine cellar of an 18th-century olive oil mill. During a tour of its lemon, orange and olive groves, your host will show you how mozzarella and other cheeses of the region are made. Then you'll get to try cheeses, salamis and marinated vegetables, washed down with local wine, homemade bread and finishing off with pizza.
Day 10
Best Of Capri
- Explore the glamour of Capri on a walking tour with a Local Specialist that will include views of the marina. Venture to the heart of the island and the legendary Piazzetta. Take in amazing views of the 'jet-set' island of Capri. You'll cruise around the island and visit the villa of Swedish author Axel Munthe. The tour will finish at the elevated village of Anacapri.
Day 11
Isle of Capri Naples – Rome
- We sail back across the Mediterranean to Naples and remember the brave soldiers who died during World War II at their final resting place in Cassino's Commonwealth War Cemetery. Venture north to Rome
