Day 01
DELHI AIRPORT – HARIDWAR
- Upon arrival in Delhi, we will pick up you from Delhi airport/ station and drive to Haridwar. Upon arrival
check-in at the hotel. Relaxation at hotel. Later in the evening, visit Har-ki Pauri for the Aarti ceremony
of mother Ganges [if time permits]. Return to the hotel. Overnight stay at Haridwar.
Haridwar: One of the holiest pilgrimages in India, Haridwar, or the ‘gateway to gods’, is located where
Ganga, the sacredest of all Indian rivers, enters the Indo-Gangetic plains. Located at the foothills of the
Himalayas, Haridwar is a city of temples and ashrams and its pious ambience envelops everyone.
Haridwar is one of the four holy Indian cities that host the Kumbh Mela, a pious gathering of millions of
Hindu devotees every 12 years.
Day 02
HARIDWAR – BARKOT
- After breakfast at the hotel. Check-out from the hotel and drive to Barkot. Upon arrival check-in at the
hotel. Rest of the day free at leisure. Overnight stay at Barkot.
Day 03
BARKOT – YAMUNOTRI – BARKOT
- Early Morning (04:00 AM) drive to Jankichatti, Jankichatti is the starting point for the trek route towards
Yamunotri i.e. 6 Kms one way [you have option either walk or hire Pony or by Doli at your own cost].
Upon arrival at Yamunotri, take a Holy bath in Tapt Kund (Hot Spring) or Yamuna River (Cold Water)
and visit Yamunotri temple "Darshan" and Pooja of pious "Yamuna Ji" at Divya Shila. Later return to
Janki Chatti and then further drive back to Barkot. Overnight stay at Barkot.
Yamonotri: Yamunotri is a part of Char Dham (along with Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath), the four
most revered Hindu pilgrimages in the Himalayas. The small mountain hamlet, with the Yamunotri
Temple at its centre, attracts thousands of devotees every year and is the commencing point of the Char
Dham Yatra pilgrimage (May to October), which proceeds from Yamunotri to Gangotri and finally to
Kedarnath and Badrinath. Lodged in a narrow gorge, close to the source of the Yamuna, the Yamunotri
Temple is dedicated to Yamuna, the second-most sacred river after the Ganges.
Day 04
BARKOT – UTTARKASHI
- Morning (09:00 AM) after breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Uttarkashi. Enroute visit
Vishwanath Temple. Upon arrival check-in at the hotel. Rest of the day free. Overnight stay at
Uttarkashi.
Day 05
UTTARKASHI – GANGOTRI – UTTARKASHI
- After breakfast, we proceed to the Gangotri excursion tour. En-route enjoy picturesque Harsil valley,
Bhagirathi River and the most magnificent view of the Himalayas. Upon arrival at Gangotri, visit Gangotri
Mata Temple and perform pooja, Bhagirath Shilla and Surya Kund. Thereafter we drive back to
Uttarkashi. Overnight stay at Uttarkashi. Gangotri: One of the char dhams (the most sacred pilgrimage circuits in northern India with four holy destinations), Gangotri, in Uttarkashi, is a small town with the temple of Goddess Ganga at its heart. A
12-hour drive from Rishikesh, Gangotri is nestled among lofty Garhwal Himalayan peaks, glaciers and
dense forests, and is one of highest pilgrimages in India (approx 3,415 m).
Day 06
UTTARKASHI – GUPTKASHI
- Morning (07:00 AM) After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Guptkashi. Upon arrival at
Guptkashi check-in at the hotel. Rest of the day free at the hotel. Overnight stay at Guptkashi.
Day 07
GUPTKASHI – SONPRAYAG – GAURIKUND – KEDARNATH
- Early in the morning you will drive till Sonprayag (vehicles allow till this point) from here you need to
take a local jeep/ Max to reach Gaurikund (3 Kms, on direct payment basis, approx. INR 200 per person).
Upon arrival in Gaurikund, you will start your trek towards Kedarnath Temple, which is a long and
beautiful man-made trail. After reaching, check in at your accommodation. Later performing Pooja and
Darshan of Shri Kedarnath Temple. Overnight stay at Kedarnath. Kedarnath: One of the most revered temple destinations of India, Kedarnath town is nestled in the mighty Garhwal Himalayas. The town, built around the revered Kedarnath temple, is located at an altitude of 3,580 m, near Chorabari glacier, which is the source of the Mandakini river. Dedicated to Lord Shiva, the ancient temple has exquisite architecture and is built of extremely large but evenly shaped grey stone slabs. The Kedarnath temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva, is a part of Char Dham pilgrimage
circuit, and is one of the 12 Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva in India.
Day 08
KEDARNATH – GAURIKUND – SONPRAYAG – GUPTKASHI
- Early morning, check-out from the hotel. Later trek down to Gaurikund. On arrival in Gaurikund from
here you need to take a local jeep/ Max to reach Sonprayag (3 kms, on direct payment basis, approx.
200 per person). Later drive to Guptkashi. On arrival check-in at the hotel. An overnight stay.
Day 09
GUPTKASHI – BADRINATH
- After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Badrinath. Enroute drive via Chopta and visit Narsingh Temple at Joshimath. Upon arrival at Badrinath, check-in at the hotel. Afternoon at leisure.
Evening visit at Shri Badrinath Temple Aarti [If time permits].
Note: - We would suggest to book any Online Pooja at Badrinath Temple to avoid standing in queue. Badrinath: The Badrinath Temple also known as the Badrinarayan Temple, located in Uttarakhand's Badrinath town, is one of the Char Dhams (four important pilgrimages) in the state. There are four pilgrim-destinations namely Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath, collectively known as Char Dham. These pilgrimage centres draw large number of pilgrims each year, thus becoming the most important hubs of religious travel in the whole of Northern India.
Day 10
BADRINATH – JOSHIMATH/RUDRAPRAYAG
- Morning after bath in the Taptkund visit to Shri Badrinath Temple, Brahma Kamal is significant for Pind Dan Shradh of ancestors (Pitru). There is another interesting sightseeing spot like Mana Village, Vyas Gufa, Mata Murti Temple, Bhim Kund and the "Mukh '' of the Saraswati River & Saraswati Temple. Just within the three Kms of Badrinath Ji. After the sightseeing tour, drive towards Joshimath/Rudraprayag. Upon arrival check-in at the hotel.
Overnight stay at Joshimath/Rudraprayag.
Day 11
RUDRAPRAYAG – HARIDWAR VIA RISHIKESH
- After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and drive to Haridwar. En-route visiting Ram Jhula, Laxman Jhula, Triveni Ghat temples and Ashrams. Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel. Overnight stay at Haridwar.
Day 12
HARIDWAR – DELHI AIRPORT
- Breakfast at hotel, check out and drive to Delhi, on arrival you will transfer to the airport to board your flight.
