Day 1
Arrival Njp / Ixb – Gangtok
Gangtok (5412 Ft / 1650Mts, 130 Kms / 04 to 05 Hrs Drive) On arrival at New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) / Bagdogra Airport (IXB) (413 Ft / 126 Mts), you will be met by our local representative, who will assist you to board the vehicle to Gangtok. On reaching Gangtok, check in and dinner & overnight stay at hotel.
Day 2
Gangtok – Excursion to Tshangu Lake & New Baba Mandir
Tshangu Lake (12400Ft / 3780 Mts / 43 Kms / 02 Hrs Drive one way) & New Baba Mandir (13100 Ft / 3994 Mts / 18 Kms / 01 Hrs further drive from Tshangu Lake) After breakfast, start for an excursion to Tsomgo Lake and further drive to Baba Mandir. Evening back to Gangtok. Dinner & Overnight stay at Gangtok. Tsomgo Lake, also known Changgu Lake, is a glacial lake in the East Sikkim district of the Indian state of Sikkim, some 40 kilometres from the capital Gangtok. Located at an elevation of 3,753 m, the lake remains frozen during the winter season. Rides on colourfully decorated yaks and mules are offered at the lake site, which also has a variety of eating stalls serving snacks and beverages. Snowboots and gumboots can be hired here.
Day 3
Gangtok – Pelling
Pelling (5500 Ft / 1675 Mts, 116Kms / 05 to 06 Hrs drive) After breakfast check out and go for a half day sightseeing of Gangtok covering The Orchidarium (Flower Show), Directorate of Handicraft & Handloom (Closed on 2nd & 4th Saturday, Sunday, Local Festival and State & National Govt. holidays), Do-rul Chhorten, Research Institute of Tibetology (Closed on 2nd & 4th Saturday, Sunday, Local Festival and State & National Govt. holidays) and Banjhakari Falls. Later transfer to Pelling, check in and dinner & overnight stay at hotel. (On the way to Pelling you can plan a visit to Ravangla Buddha Park a spiritual landmark featuring a majestic 130-foot (40m) statue of Lord Buddha & Offers uninterrupted views of the Greater Himalaya range, including Mount Pandim and Mount Kabru. This optional visit costs only INR 2000 extra)
Day 4
Pelling Local Sightseeing
Pelling (5500 Ft / 1675 Mts) After breakfast, proceed for Pelling local sightseeing covering Pemayangtse Monastery, Chenrezig Statue & Skywalk. Post lunch; proceed for sightseeing of Rimbi Water fall, Khecheopalri Lake & Kanchanjunga Water fall. Overnight at hotel.
Day 5
Pelling – Darjeeling
Darjeeling (6710 Ft / 2046 Mts, 125Kms / 05 to 06 Hrs drive) After breakfast, checkout & then transfer to Darjeeling. On reaching Darjeeling, check in and overnight at hotel. (On the way to Darjeeling you can plan little detour to visit Namchi, the scenic headquarters of South Sikkim, is a rapidly growing tourism hub located at 5,500 ft (1,675m), offering panoramic views of the Kanchenjunga range and surrounding valleys. Known as the "sky high" city, it is famous for the massive statue of Guru Padmasambhava at Samdruptse Hill and the Siddhesvara Dham (Char Dham) complex. This optional visit costs only INR 4000 extra)
Day 6
Darjeeling Local Sightseeing
Darjeeling (6710 Ft / 2046 Mts) Early morning at around 0400 am (subject to clear weather) for visit to Tiger Hills (8482 Ft / 2586 Mts) to view the sunrise over mighty Kanchendzonga Peak (Third highest peak in the world). Back to hotel for breakfast. After breakfast go for a half-day sightseeing of local Darjeeling covering Japanese Temple & Peace Pagoda, Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park & Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Closed on Thursday, Local Festival and State & National Govt. holidays), Tenzing & Gombu Rock and Panoramic tour of Tea Estate. - Back to Hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 7
Darjeeling – Bagdogra Airport
New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) / Bagdogra Airport (IXB) (413 Ft / 126 Mts, 100 Kms / 03 to 04 Hrs drive) After breakfast transfer to New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) / Bagdogra Airport (IXB), for onwards connection.

Things to Look Out For
India is not one country, climate-wise
Rajasthan in February reads dry-cold; Kerala in February reads humid-warm; Sikkim in February might be under snow. Pack for the specific itinerary, not 'India in general'. Tibro's per-state tours are tuned to one climate at a time. Don't try to chain three of them back-to-back.
Tipping is structured, not arbitrary
Driver tips at ₹500-1000 per day, guide tips at ₹500-1000 per half-day, hotel housekeeping ₹100 per day, restaurant 10% on top of any service charge already listed. Hand the driver/guide an envelope on the last day rather than tipping daily. It is more dignified for them.
Tap water and ice are a real consideration
Every Tibro-tier hotel provides sealed bottled water in the room daily. Use it for brushing your teeth too. At restaurants, ask for "sealed bottled water" specifically. Some places will pour from a filtered jug, which is fine in some kitchens and not in others. Ice is the hidden trap; ask for "no ice" with cold drinks unless the hotel makes its own.

Plan Your Timing
When to Go
India has three windows for travel. October–March is the cool/dry season. The headline window, when most of the subcontinent is at its most welcoming. April–June is hot and increasingly dangerous in the north plains. July–September is the southwest monsoon. Beautiful for Kerala Ayurveda lovers, hard for sightseeing. This Kerala tour sits squarely in the post-monsoon clear window.
Kerala has two monsoons (southwest Jun–Aug heavy; northeast Oct–Nov a brief secondary). The Winters 25-26 departure window avoids both. Ayurveda treatments traditionally peak with the monsoon, but the tour itinerary itself works best in dry season.
