Day 1
Arrive Baku
Arrive at Heydar Aliyev International Airport and welcome to Baku, the Land of Fire. After completing the immigration and baggage formalities, you’ll be transferred comfortably to your hotel. Check in at the hotel. Later in the evening, embark on a scenic city tour beginning with a visit to Highland Park, also known as the Alley of Martyrs. This elevated spot offers a panoramic view of the city skyline and Baku Bay, making it a perfect place for photos and a quiet moment of reflection. Next, admire the National Assembly of Azerbaijan (Milli Majlis), an impressive architectural structure that plays a central role in the country’s legislative functions. The evening concludes with a stop at the iconic Flame Towers. Overnight stay at hotel in Baku.
Day 2
Flames Tour + Gobustan
Breakfast at the hotel. Your tour begins with a visit to the Ateshgah Fire Temple, an extraordinary historical site located on the outskirts of Baku. Also known as the Fire Worshippers’ Temple, Ateshgah was a place of spiritual importance for Hindu and Zoroastrian communities, as revealed by the Persian and Indian inscriptions found at the site. Next, you’ll head to the remarkable Yanardag, or "Fire Mountain", located approximately 25 kilometers north of Baku on the Absheron Peninsula. The mountain's name, which literally translates to “Blazing Mountain”, embodies Azerbaijan’s title as the Land of Fire. The tour continues with a journey to Gobustan National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, famous for its prehistoric rock petroglyphs. This open-air museum offers a fascinating glimpse into ancient human civilization, with over 6,000 carvings etched into the rocks. Portraying hunting scenes, rituals, celestial symbols, ships, and animals. Dating back to the 8th millennium BC, these petroglyphs are spread across 100 square kilometers and represent one of the world's richest collections of ancient rock art. Day 3
Gabala Tour
Start your day with breakfast at the hotel before departing for Gabala, a beautiful mountainous region in the northwest of Azerbaijan. The drive co vers 340 km and takes approximately 5 hours, offering scenic views along the way. Upon arrival, begin your tour with a visit to the Tufandag Winter-Summer Tourism Complex. This all-season resort offers: - Cable car rides with stunning mountain views - Skiing and snowboarding (in winter) - Ski training and school for beginners - On-site cafés, restaurants, and family entertainment zones Continue your day with a stop at Nohur Lake, a peaceful, crystal-clear lake surrounded by mountains and forest. Day 4
Baku City Tour
After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, check out from the hotel and proceed to Baku. Begin your day with a guided walking tour of Icheri Sheher, also known as the Old City. The historical heart of Baku. Surrounded by fortified walls, this UNESCO World Heritage Site is the oldest part of the city, offering a glimpse into Azerbaijan’s ancient past. Explore cobbled streets, medieval architecture, and iconic landmarks such as: - The Maiden Tower (Giz Galasi) – a symbol of Baku’s rich history and mystery - The Palace of the Shirvanshahs – a 15th century royal residence and architectural masterpiece Next, visit one of Baku’s most striking landmarks. The Heydar Aliyev Center. Designed by world-renowned architect Zaha Hadid, this futuristic structure is admired globally for its smooth, flowing curves and absence of sharp angles. Spanning over 57,000 square meters, the building stands as a symbol of modern Azerbaijan. While the tour includes a photo stop outside, the building itself provides a stunning backdrop for architectural photography. Conclude your tour with a leisurely walk along Baku Boulevard, a scenic promenade that stretches along the Caspian Sea. Originally developed in the early 20th century, the boulevard connects Freedom Square to the Old City. Overnight stay at hotel in Baku.
Day 5
Shahdag Tour
After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, check out and begin your journey to Shahdag Mountain Resort, located in the scenic Gusar region of northern Azerbaijan. The drive takes approximately 3 to 4 hours from Baku and offers beautiful views of the changing landscape along the way. On the route, make a stop at the Candy Cane Mountains, famous for their unusual and colorful striped appearance. These striking hills, named for their red and white bands that resemble candy canes, are a rare geological wonder and a great spot for photos. Continue your drive to Shahdag, one of Azerbaijan’s top destinations for nature and adventure lovers. Nestled in the Caucasus Mountains, the resort offers a variety of year-round outdoor activities. In the winter, it transforms into a snowy paradise for skiing, snowboarding, and other snow sports. During the warmer months, the mountains are perfect for hiking, mountain biking, zip-lining, and horseback riding. Day 6
Departure – Baku - Tbilisi
After having breakfast at the hotel. Check out from the hotel in Shahdag and drive to Baku. Take internal flight from Baku to Tbilisi. Check in at the hotel. In the evening embark on a guided city tour of Tbilisi, where you will visit iconic landmarks such as the impressive Holy Trinity Cathedral, the historic Narikala Fortress, and the bustling Freedom Square. Take a leisurely stroll through the charming streets of the Old Town, filled with vibrant architecture and rich history. Later, proceed to Mtskheta, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and Georgia’s ancient capital. Explore its spiritual landmarks, including the magnificent Svetitskhoveli Cathedral and the historic Jvari Monastery, offering stunning views of the confluence of rivers and surrounding landscapes. Day 6
Ananuri, Gudauri and Kazbegi Excursion
After breakfast, begin your journey with a visit to the Ananuri Fortress, a remarkable historical complex overlooking the scenic Aragvi River, offering a glimpse into Georgia’s rich past. Continue your drive to Gudauri, a picturesque ski resort town renowned for its breathtaking mountain views and serene surroundings. From there, head to Kazbegi (Stepantsminda), a charming mountain town. Here, visit the iconic Gergeti Trinity Church, perched atop a hill with panoramic views of the majestic Mount Kazbek. Day 7
Kahheti, Sighnaghi, and Bodbe Excursion
After having breakfast at the hotel. Embark on a day trip to the Kakheti region, a picturesque area renowned for its rich wine-making traditions. Begin your journey with a visit to Sighnaghi, known as the City of Love, where you can stroll through charming cobblestone streets and admire the town’s historic defensive walls. Next, visit the peaceful and sacred Bodbe Monastery, a revered site dedicated to Saint Nino, offering a serene atmosphere and beautiful surroundings. Things to Look Out For

Indian passport holders get the ASAN e-visa online in three working days. Straightforward. The catch is older: if your passport carries an Armenian stamp, expect hard questions at Baku immigration. Azerbaijan and Armenia are not on speaking terms, so don't try to combine the two on one trip unless your operator has routed it carefully.

Plan Your Timing
When to Go
Baku sits on a windy spit in the Caspian, and its weather is milder than the latitude suggests. The sweet spots are spring, April to June, when the Absheron is green and the Caspian breeze is soft, and autumn, September to October, warm and dry. July and August are hot and humid in the city, though Shahdag and the Caucasus stay cool. Winter is grey and wet at sea level but it's the season for the snow resorts up north.
